Today’s #spendingreview signals the UK government’s continued commitment to supporting #naturefriendlyfarming. While a cut to the Defra budget has been announced, it comes with a note of cautious optimism. The devil will be in the detail, but for now, we can breathe a little easier. 🌾🐝

Defra has announced that the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) will no longer accept new applications, with no new offer available until spring 2026. This leaves many farmers facing an 18-month gap before fresh SFI payments arrive, creating significant financial uncertainty...
