Starting a thread to all the games I've beaten this year inspired by a video games reporter (sadly I forgot which one!).

1. Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed - Wonderful coda to the series and large enough to be its own game. A little overstuffed, but that's what you get with Xenoblade.
One of the worst parts about these ghouls is any effort to explain how grotesque and inhumane their opinions are is then spun in their heads as proof of them being bold and righteous truth tellers.
I recently looked up the Arabic translation of some of the names of the emaciated children used in coverage of the alleged famine in Gaza.

It turns out that many of them were sick before the war and have long, complicated medical histories. Our reporting shows they do not represent the average.

Vinland Saga is extraordinary and its ending is beautiful. I truly can't recommend this story enough, even if you aren't normally into manga and anime.

This is one of the first anime series I fell in love with, and I can't believe my parents let my sister and I buy those criminally overpriced VHS tapes.
"Slayers" 35th anniversary exhibition is coming in Japan.
So many fun/sakuga memories on VHS.

worth noting the pipeline here:
* Trump-supporting anons hack Columbia data
* Nazi twitter accounts dig around in the data
* NYT picks up on Nazi substack posts, publishes Zohran story to damage his campaign
* Chris Rufo immediately boosting the story

One of several reasons I have trouble approaching these trans political issues with much “nuance” is because once you even briefly ignore any of the “debates” around minors’ healthcare, the reality is shockingly simple which is they, mostly the entirety of the GOP, is coming after these families…

The most embarrassing thing I've seen on this app over the past two years is everyone jumping on the Knicks bandwagon while pretending it's not a bandwagon.

I realize posting this here is preaching to the choir. But after the Grok White Genocide thing & Ye essentially launching an exclusive Neo Nazi single on the platform... I felt motivated to write about X and how bizarre it is that so many people (news outlets, celebrities, politicians) use it

Echoing all of the praise for Clair Obscur and I'd like to add that the enemies have better telegraphing than a vast majority of soulslikes. I can sightread a boss's attacks and still parry or dodge a lot of the attacks, while still remaining tight with the timing.

Good thread and article. Instead of throwing a fit about the creative direction of this league, I'll play other games and try the new season of Last Epoch.

I think a current problem is people WANT a forever game, so if there's a patch they don't like they go nuclear. Content creators don't help.
This has been happening more and more often. Entire game audiences have rolling, shrieking tantrums and review-bomb games if a patch makes ANY kind of tweak that isn't immediately loved.

Often demanding the game be a fundamentally different concept than what its creators had in mind from the start.
Sheesh. Path Of Exile 2's not even close to leaving early access, still doesn't have half its planned campaign, and once again the True Hardcore Gamers have a shrieking meltdown over things changing. www.pcgamer.com/games/rpg/pa...
