He’s right!
Rand Paul: "When you kill someone, if you're not in a declared war, you really need to know someone's name at least. You have to accuse them of something. You have to present evidence. So all of these people have been blown up without any evidence of a crime."

The lack of critical thinking among the audience for this never stops breaking my heart.
That’s a nice trick, since Biden wasn’t the president on Jan 6.

This is pure fascism, folks
Vought’s ideology of “radical constitutionalism” captures the defining sensibility on the Trumpist Right: “The Left,” he believes, has command of America, there is nothing left to conserve, nothing short of a radical “counter-revolution” can now save the nation.

Even as FBI is being downsized, it must allocate more of its resources to the only part of the govt that is growing: immigration enforcement.
The scale of this growth is hard to comprehend. DHS has a slushfund of $10B - bigger than the old ICE budget - to pay other agencies and state & local cops.

I would also make sure to do this on the day when, because of my actions, the more than one million people who report into the people I've gathered will not get paid for an indeterminate time. And will still have to work.
I, too, would make sure that all the people who would need to coordinate to halt or reverse my political progress were gathered from across the planet in the same room while I demonstrated why they should probably do that
if i were a would-be dictator whose only civilian check on power had been consumed by total-complete partisan loyalty, something i would definitely do is call an unprecedented in-person meeting of the only people who could stop me and then proceed to illustrate why they should stop me

It begins with a postcard sent to Chambers and Young's reply

card: "Trump has pardons and tanks, what do you have?"

Folks had no idea who owns their local TV stations - until large, faceless corporations, Sinclair and Nexstar, said they can't watch Jimmy Kimmel because of politics

This is why they've been warning us: media consolidation is a threat to democracy. My new column www.inquirer.com/opinion/jimm...
Kimmel blackout is what happens when your TV isn’t locally sourced
When most Americans weren't looking, a handful of companies seized control over what you see on your local TV channels.

Removal protections are gone. Humphrey's Executor is overruled in all but name by the Shadow Docket.

Rest in peace to the Presidency, and long live the Monarchy.
#BREAKING: Over dissents from Justices Sotomayor, Kagan & Jackson, #SCOTUS grants a stay in the Slaughter case (allowing President Trump to remove the last Dem member of the FTC), *and* grants certiorari "before judgment" to decide whether to formally overrule its 1935 ruling in Humphrey's Executor.

Sinclair is demanding that Kimmel apologize to the family (?) and also "make a meaningful personal donation to the Kirk Family and Turning Point USA"

Are you fucking kidding me? It's not enough they got him fired, they want him to grovel and send money to these anti-free speech grifters?
#BREAKING: Sinclair says it will air a one-hour tribute to Charlie Kirk on its ABC-affiliated stations in the time slot that is usually occupied for "Jimmy Kimmel Live." The special will air on Friday, per a Sinclair spokesperson.
