"legitimate concerns" have an overwhelming media presence

meanwhile the same is not afforded to asylum seekers

(or immigrants for that matter but I know this isn't about me)
She "doesn't laud" Farage but she has a life-size cardboard cut-out of him in her conservatory.

What would she have if she did laud him, a gold statue in the garden and limited edition Reform ashtrays in every room?

Flags put up by the far right aren't intended to be patriotic. They are intended to intimidate. Seem some reporting of this implying the end justifies the means. It does not.
Not sure whether or not it's a sign of something to worry about but there were an awful lot of Union Jacks and England Flags suddenly hanging from overbridges on my drive to London yesterday.

As always, if your business model is "there is only room for profit if we wildly underpay our staff" then you do not have a business model. If people won't pay airfares that will cover real wages, shrink or get government subsidies as the service you are. Why should FAs carry this "public good"?

Last post in a class and useful thread
The only people who have spoiled the nature of this area were the mindless thugs who came to our homes last evening and created chaos.

I’ve never been scared by the asylum seekers. I’m terrified that the angry mob will return.

So, how do I get *my* country back from them? I’ve genuinely no idea

Human beings are not dirt to be "cleaned up". Irrespective of their immigration status.

People of colour throughout this country have to live with the social consequences of this hateful, dehumanising language. Irrespective of our immigration status.

Abolish the Home Office
Skilled immigrants who have worked for TFL for years will be forced to leave the UK because many incomes don't meet the new thresholds and in some cases, their jobs have been removed from the shortage list (presumably because they filled the shortage?)

Here's the thing

I think they mean it. They themselves are racists too
I am begging, begging Labour to look at the last five decades and realise that catering to the far right has never, ever won their votes or succeeded at making Labour “look tough” on immigration.

Even at Blair’s peak, he was attacked for being weak on it.

Please. Just. Stop.
