Ana decided to call out payment processors and their unilateral response was attempting to fuck up her life and that should be bigger news than it is as of now
The full count as of today:

YouTube suspended
Twitch banned 3x
Patreon suspended (temporary)
Patreon 3x audio flags (one false posi)
Ko-fi suspended (indefinite?)
Buy Me a Coffee suspended
Vice reporting censored
Pornhub censored 3x times
Fansly censored 1x
Is it really a conspiracy to say Ana is being explicitly flagged by finance bros when she's now been banned (or censored) from Twitch, Patreon, Buy Me A Coffee, Ko-Fi, and *PornHub*??

i am still not entirely how best to qualify my feelings about netflix show The Residence but here's one interpretation; it is the most persuasive case i've ever seen for style as the way to sell a murder mystery that can't be interesting in a conventional way. also, it is an all-time television show

To bridge these worlds, the answer is simple: we need Hideo Kojima’s Metroid.
The entire fandom’s (and Retro Studios) initial assumption: “Oh she hunts down the baddest monsters in the galaxy and gets paid for it, right?”

Nintendo: “What? No. She’s like humanity’s motherly guardian. What are you talking about.”

this is very cool! i immediately went to the cert page for achievements.

"Unlocking achievements in the base game or a content update must represent a thorough exploration of or engagement with game content."

i absolutely HAVE to know how this is assessed and enforced

i'm not talking abt too much narrative (not a real issue). i'm talking abt a constant, patronizing use of narration to /predigest/ everything from challenge to mood to emotional impact!

reputation injured in reporter-involved email
The emails that you’re seeing now are news in themselves, but that’s because of how they’re coming out—a congressional committee released them—& the context in which they’re being viewed. A guy emailing a reporter talking about old girlfriends or saying someone is “dirty” is not a whole news story.

The fact that this person remains Health Secretary is objectively one of the most significant British political scandals of the post-Covid era. But because he's doing something the media barons like, everyone has decided it's fine.
Health Secretary Wes Streeting says that the British Medical Association, which represents Britain's doctors, is a threat to the NHS. Streeting took a record £225k from private healthcare-related donors in just two years.

Peter Thiel is an overt, convinced, outspoken Nazi.

Peter Thiel's company is being paid by the UK government to crawl all over YOUR personal data.

You can't make it up.
