I don’t talk about this publicly, but hegseth drives me out of my silence.
I attended West Point from 1998-2000. I left, along with about 5 other young women, as a direct result of the military’s then-shameful (non) policies addressing sex harassment and assault.

Klein’s entire political project has been problematizing minor transgressions of the left while insisting we excuse or valorize the cruelty of the right. Every few months he facilitates the ceding of more ground, assuring us it will protect whatever thing he will then insist we cede 3 months later.

Justice-minded folks have a habit of fetishizing youth participation and throwing masses of activated young people at a problem while pledging support and having reverence in the background. This leads to most of those young people getting ground under and burned out and leaving the work w in 5 yrs.
