Been having Thoughts re long term, important relationships that were tricky towards the end. Maybe that person had dementia, a severe illness, mental ill health and/or you were their carer. Trying to remember the years, decades, of love, when the last chapter looms in your mind as hugely painful 💔

I am remembering a BBC correspondent who quit the BBC after transphobes changed his copy after he filed it, and without his permission.
The BBC, quite consciously, sets out to demean and belittle trans people. This is both morally contemptible and in breach of its Charter obligations. We've made it super easy for you to write to the BBC and tell it to stop.

Reading this little book of joy. 4 classes of inmates in workhouses - children, able-bodied females, able-bodied males, the aged/'impotent'. So that's why my grandmother & her mother are listed separately. Also, my gran's birth certificate doesn't say she was born in a workhouse. Just an address
