This is a huge moment, a complete integration of crypto into the state-regulated sphere and the realm of companies likely to be bailed out by taxpayers in times of stress
Crypto can only survive long-term if it gets access to the publicly backed banking system.

In one fell swoop, the OCC—the regulator for national banks—just approved five (5) bank charter applications by crypto companies.

Quick guide to interpreting US foreign policy propaganda: if the word “deal” was used, some American made some money, and the war is still going on.
An estimated 200,000 people have fled fighting in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo just days after Trump hailed a “historic” peace deal to end the conflict.

This should be the biggest story in the country right now. The sitting US President was extorting state lawmakers from his own party by threatening to withhold public money if they didn’t gerrymander for him.

I don’t know how else to say it…

I am deadly serious when I say that any liberal Project 2028 people should be taking names of the civil servants who go way past their authority to do stuff like this.

That is very much not me saying that normal employees following bad orders should be fired. But there’s a line. This crosses it.
That should be a career ending act of corruption

A year after touting the “historic realignment” of minority voters that powered him to a second term in the White House, the multiracial coalition President Trump has boasted about is slipping away.

Oh, this a very good catch. (As always.)
One under-appreciated part of this: note the bit below about “and their dependents.”

Under the Trump admin’s new policy, dependent children of visa applicants are not allowed to have their social media set to private during the entire visa process. They MUST make their social media public.

DHS published data claiming to show that it is "starting with the worst of the worst" immigrants. I analyzed the data: DHS has classified just 4% of ICE arrests as the "worst", most for nonviolent offenses, and hundreds for minor crimes like drug possession, traffic infractions, and illegal entry.

It's a little known fact but because USCIS uses a "Last in, First Out" system, there are actually thousands (if not tens of thousands) of people whose affirmative asylum cases have been sitting at the back of the line since the Obama admin. They have work permits, but have been stuck in total limbo.

Democrats would be crazy not to make this comment super-famous tomorrow when the Senate debates health care. Republicans don’t want you to be cared for as a patient when you’re sick. They think of you as a “consumer”—and tough luck if you don’t have the money for the care you need.
Roger Marshall: "We want patients to become consumers again. We want patients to see what the actual prices are. We believe that if we would add the price tags to this bill, that it would save the country a trillion dollars a year."
