Passionate advocate for cycling-friendly cities. Championing safer streets, sustainable mobility, and accessible infrastructure to make cycling a natural choice for all. Join me in the movement for greener, more livable communities, one pedal at a time!
Most of the everyday “city noise” is really just car noise. Without cars, urban spaces would be remarkably quiet. It’s striking how we’ve collectively normalised the pollution, danger, and constant disruption of car culture, almost like a societal Stockholm syndrome.

Some industries will still need chemical feedstocks , either to store energy or to make certain reactions work. In those cases, molecules like hydrogen will remain essential, right ?

Cycling burns a lot of calories – so proper field research was required 🔎🍩 Today’s test: Vienna’s top-rated Krapfen bakeries.
Groissböck and Öfferl deliver excellence in very different ways – both outstanding, both worth the ride.

Isn’t this one of the greatest songs ever written, fitting so perfectly to the end scene of fight club?🎧🫶

Planned to ride home from the office yesterday, but my regular commuter bike had a flat tire. Luckily, I had this steel beauty as a backup at the office. Rides very well and it even got a few positive comments on the way.🥰🚲

Only 25% of daily trips in Vienna are made by car and the share keeps declining. Yet headlines claim young people are “waiving” cars. That framing misses the point: in Vienna, you don’t give up a car. You simply don’t choose one, because it’s unnecessary #motonormativity wien.orf.at/stories/3340...

Things you miss when crossing the city by car: on my bike commute home, I passed a small restaurant where a brass band was playing live for a couple at their table. One of those really urban moments you only experience at cycling speed.

This Austrian app flips perspective and lets adults experience traffic like a child. Suddenly it’s clear how dangerous car-centred streets really are. If we truly saw what kids see every day, we’d redesign our roads for safety—not speed. auva.at/blog/app-ver...

It’s encouraging to hear a politician say this clearly: cars can become weapons in the wrong hands. If someone uses a vehicle to endanger lives, society must respond accordingly including permanently revoking driving privileges. Road safety must come first. www.derstandard.at/story/300000...

On Holocaust Remembrance Day, we remember the six million Jewish people murdered by the Nazis, as well as countless other victims.

We honor their lives by rejecting the evils of antisemitism, dehumanization, and authoritarian violence wherever they appear.

Never again means never again for anyone.
