#yyj, Sooke, BC, Canada 🇨🇦 Please follow the science and get vaccinated. I want clean air and I love seeing people masking in crowded places. I’m interested in other things too.

Sometimes I imagine what it would have been like had we adapted to Covid instead of giving up.

If we had clean air in public spaces.
Respirators in healthcare.
Free masks for those who need them.
Better tests & treatment.
Paid time off.

We would all be healthier.

Reminder:

Medical staff aren’t the only people we’re trying to poach from the United States.

If you’re a laid off air traffic controller, teacher, scientist… see what the options are for Canada.

I don’t have the bandwidth to help you, but a lot of Canadians are trying to be helpful in this way.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but if you have friends struggling through the shutdown, consider inviting them over for a family dinner this week. Make too much. Insist they take leftovers home. Some folks can't say they need help out loud but will appreciate the kindness.

I don't care if you're in a cover band, play all original music, a one-hit wonder, big in Japan, #1 in your city and nowhere else, a viral sensation, brand new or veteran, an all-girl group or one-man band.
You keep playing and being you.
And thank you for the music.
