Larry Summers is really one of the most damaging figures of my lifetime. The morally bereft and powerless condition of the Democratic party these days is largely because of people like him. I only got to hear Todd Snider in concert one time, when a friend who wanted me to hear him invited me to the show at the Great American in SF. It was such a memorable night, and not just because Ramblin Jack Elliott was on stage with him. Sad to hear that Todd Snider has passed on, far too young.

NEW: @propublica.org investigated the Chicago apartment raid where kids were zip-tied and citizens detained for hours. They find:
- NONE of the arrested were criminally charged
- NO evidence the building was "filled with TdA terrorists."
- ZERO legitimate reason for DHS to rappel from a Blackhawk.

I used to say this trial was a waste of taxpayer dollars, but I think it’s totally worth it.
