This is why I checked out of Late Night With The Devil. You had a good hook and ruined it with "movie" stuff.
Noticing a trend of horror films using the aesthetic/outward trappings of found footage/faux doc, but then completely disregarding all of the strengths of that kind of film-making. Why is there a soundtrack? Who edited this? The limitations / tropes of FF can be superbly scary. Why not go for it?
