At our last Christmas of the season we played an Iowa trivia game in which "What is Iowa's only island city?" was asked, but I couldn't answer it because it wasn't my turn. I just so happen to be writing a comic set in an analog for Sabula-- A Quiet Place: Storm Warning from IDW. Christmas irony!

It was so nice out that I grilled some Kalbi to go with our roasted chicken (Ina Garten recipe) and Hasselback potatoes. Good thing, since we had some extra drop-ins. Grandbaby staying over. A beautiful Christmas.
