I've been thinking on this for a while, and instead of a holiday season sale, Bonedust Press will instead dedicate 10% of all direct sales to the San Diego Food Bank.

Times are tough and since I have to do the marketing song and dance anyway, I'd like to accomplish a little good with it.

Shop small for the holidays, support independent publishing, and do some good!

From now until Dec. 31, we will donate 10% of every single direct sale from our site to local food banks.

Treat yourself to our debut title, The Traitor & The Wretch, or gift it to a friend!

“This is fully AI generated…”

Yeah. No shit. We can ABSOLUTELY tell.
AI sitcom accidentally a Lynchian fever dream. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and insane lament.

As it is the spookiest week of the year, I read 'Cry Out Loud' @taraocomics.bsky.social. I wish this was longer, because I wanted so much more about the village and the weird relatives, but I am always here for Irish folklore and healing generational trauma. Every eldest daughter should read this.

THIS. I fear this is the blue bracelet, the red lipstick, the pink hat, the safety pin—all over again. 🫣
No you don't need a polka dot dress.

You need to be doing what the person in the polka dot dress was doing.

JFC America was literally founded on “no kings” 🙄 These people are dumber than rocks.
Mike Johnson calls No Kings the "Hate America Rally" and claims "it was funded by George Soros and co-sponsored by the Communist Party and many other nefarious groups"

Why do they make baby toys squeak like dog toys? I feel like poor Brynn feels put out enough it doesn’t help their toys make indistinguishable sounds. 😭

Real talk, does anyone else add little jokes and asides in alt text? Sometimes I like to add a little flavour, like a little treat—but I’m not sure if it’s seen as irrelevant or annoying to people that just want to know what the picture is?

In all seriousness, publishers are going to have to figure out how to market books in the post-social-media landscape. That should be an implicit part of their job. What authors/artists can do on their own is increasingly limited and siloed.
