anyway go see One Battle After Another in a movie theater, I know we said this about Oppenheimer but I mean it for real with this one, there are cinematographic and audio mixing things that are essential to the experience and you won't get it at home

Every time I see a tweet from Jeffries or Schumer these days it really sends me to a dark place mentally.

If elected Democrats can’t meet this moment, I despair in a way that makes me worry electoral politics is essentially useless in a post Trump world.
The Trump administration’s threat to deploy troops in Portland is unlawful.

Here’s a thought.

Focus on protecting the healthcare of the American people.

Alright I went with the foreground I took with this shot. A car driving in front of me, 60 second exposure. The final version is a little darker and foreboding than the first one, but I think that fits the vibe of the shot more.

Incredible psyched to be able to get this 33 miles from SF.

GOODFELLAS was released 35 years ago today. Acclaimed as one of the great Hollywood gangster movies and among the most popular films of director Martin Scorsese, the story of how it was made will have you carrying Henry Hill’s mother’s groceries all the way home…

Started the day with the news that Florida was lifting all vaccine mandates, ended it with the DEVO documentary.

All in all, pretty redundant.

Ozzy Osbourne visited my magic shop. He said he'd like to buy some stink bombs. How many? All of them. I had to go through drawers finding every last one. He bought 900 of them. To sign the credit card slip I handed him a shock pen, which he thought was hilarious and bought that too. RIP

This week, I’m hosting The Daily Show Tuesday through Thursday.

It’s my first time hosting anything on TV. Ever.

I’ve spent years writing behind the scenes, learning from truly great and talented people. Now, for three nights, I get to sit at the desk and do it myself.

Wall Street Guy: OH LIKE THE KILLING FIELDS?!?! LIKE THE KHMER ROUGE?!?!
WATCH: “What about the rich? Do they get shot? It’s like they’re making Wall Streeters walk out onto the ice in the East River… class warfare… eat the rich.”

@cnbc.com hosts Joe Kernen & jim cramer hilariously struggle to process Zohran’s win — made inevitable by the greed they exalt.

not sure if this is in the current bluesky consciousness, but the Nuclear Block is what makes this place great. a block ends everything between you and the blocked person. it robs them if all engagement. it’s very much why the troll problem here is much more limited than the everything app.
This is a vital message: one of the larger reasons BlueSky is refreshingly free of alt-right shitlords is because in the early days we made a gentleperson’s agreement to starve these fuckos out and it worked. No likes, no quotes, no engagement. They got bored and left. Please keep the Old Ways.
Vice-President JD Vance confirms he has joined BlueSky.

Brian Schatz just voted yes on cloture, and that will be the end of his political career, though he may not yet realize it.

@schatz.bsky.social voted yes with Durbin and Schumer reportedly to curry favor with them and rise in Senate leadership. It will not work. This was a craven, cowardly move.
Someone needs to tell @schatz.bsky.social that his move to stay quiet here isn’t working.

Schatz wants to move up into Senate leadership so he’s trying to be a good soldier for Schumer. But the grassroots D base is not going to reward his silence. Instead he’s going to go down with Schumer.

In light of current events, I really enjoyed the film Number 24 on Netflix. Highly recommend.
