It looks more and more like her mother is still dealing with her own internalised transphobia, she’ll literally find anything and everything else to blame for her daughters hurt and death other than transphobia, it’s deeply saddening, and also dangerous for the rest of us.
Most of us have pathologically useless parents who don't care to learn about protecting us properly, but this dogshit really takes the cake.

The media lying about a member of your staff should be enough to justify a public statement at the very least, if not a legal challenge.
If my employee was lied about in the press I would be sending in my lawyers right away.
I’d be tracking down the GC and banning them form stores as well.

I see a fair few people saying they regret jumping to believe the reporting on this. No. M&S bear a lot of blame on this, because the only people in possession of the facts on this at the time it came out were the trans woman, M&S, the lying GC and the Telegraph. They should have made a statement
