It’s infuriating to me that I need to evaluate media to determine whether it’s AI generated now. The great “time saver” technology wastes incalculable time and energy for people who want to retain their grasp on reality

What do you get when you mix the best selling single of the king of pop with the lately departed queen of MAGA?

This is what we get: a parody of Billie Jean about #mtg #maga #marjorietaylorgreene 🎶🕺

‘Simple’ ways for the DfE to help schools save money. The colossal amount of money bled out of tax payers pockets through PFI contracts in particular really needs sorting. Well - and all the other points here
‘If there is to be no more money – and we have to make do with less (again) – then there are some real expenditures the Department for Education could actively work on reducing that would help hugely’

This is dreadful! I'd never heard of this "Anna's Archive" before, but you know what I have heard of? Libraries. If you cannot afford to buy a book, the library is right there. If it's not available, suggest it to your library. Ahem.

Stealing from authors isn't it, my darlings.
I posted a buy link here to "A Magical Inheritance" a few days ago, and 24 of you immediately went to Anna's Archives and fucking stole it from me.

Yes, stole it.

I do not get paid for your download there because YOU ARE STEALING FROM ME.

For goodness sake. Why don’t Labour just put up income tax an extra penny in the pound? Stop fannying around the edges of the tax system to try and please the top earners and get on with raising more money.

Most asylum seekers arrive with their valuables long lost in bombed or abandoned homes, stolen, or sold to afford the dangerous clandestine passage to safety

The real thing of value to be snatched from refugees under these proposals is far more painful: their families & futures

Another Labour MP goes public with concerns.
A strong immigration system doesn't need to be a cruel one.

It shouldn't need saying - but refugees & asylum seekers are real people, fleeing war and persecution.

This daughter of an immigrant is proud of our British and Labour values of respect and not turning our backs on people in real need.

I hope every Labour MP considering whether to support Shabana Mahmood's asylum plans remembers Nigel Farage's assessment that the “Home Secretary sounds like a Reform supporter.”

If they support them they will too.

Charlotte was once a place of slow, easy mornings, coffee cups clinking in cozy cafés, jazz drifting through open doors on Tryon Street, families stepping onto the light rail with strollers and soccer bags.

To suggest that having lived a life so grim that even an English tribunal will grant you asylum, and to have somehow managed to get here at great risk to life, is a "golden ticket" is absolutely fucking contemptible. Shame on this so-called Labour Party.

Jealous of the institutionalised modern slavery USA has been perpetrating for decades, the U.K. is looking to get in on the action.
A key point about "volunteering" is that it should be "voluntary". By forcing migrants to volunteer this government not only treats us as if we are a free resource, but also ignores everything else we go through. This policy is dehumanising and exploitative.

This is disgusting in all regards. The crime, the time and the silence. As soon as these crimes have been committed and announcing info won’t risk an investigation, then this should be communicated nationally as fast as possible.

Right message; and a clear repudiation of the "squalid chapter" rhetoric in the Immigration White Paper.

But needs to be backed up with policy; making it more difficult for long-term residents (both workers and refugees) to get settlement and citizenship is bad for both economy and social cohesion.
