This is good advice! I wasn't expecting my post to get quite so much traction, and I hope more reporters will be doing more reporting on this!
There’s a religion-related story getting some traction on here tonight from an outlet I’ve never come across, with details that raise lots of questions — so I’d want lots more confirmation.

Not gonna point to it directly bc of that, but I’d encourage folks to await more reporting on the matter.

I did my job. And then I did a job that never should have been my responsibility afterwards, sending emails and having meetings about how this was allowed to happen in the first place. Other women scholars had to spend their time explaining to Aspen leadership why this was not ok.

I've been listening to a lot of Copland while doing homework and studying this semester, including his opera The Tender Land this morning. The version on Spotify is actually by the University of Kentucky Opera Theater, which is how I learned UK has one of the best opera programs in the country!
