As NASHVILLE crews sound the 🚨 about tunnel safety concerns and walk out, worth remembering just last week it was reported the NV governor got fines against Boring dropped when firefighters & workers “suffered chemical burns” in Vegas

Are they counting on that from @GovBillLee?

These two things are true:
1) Shooting National Guard members is horrific and criminal.
2) So is putting National Guard members in harm’s way to score political points.

I'm seeing lots of posts about the deaths of two National Guard troops but I'm also seeing posts saying they aren't dead. We all need to be sure of our facts when we post, which isn't always easy, especially when news media reports get things wrong initially.
Seems like reporting that people are dead when they are in fact not is something that should not happen

Whether this was random street crime or targeted political violence, I think it was bad for the president to unnecessarily put the National Guard in harm’s way like this. They simply don’t need to be there.

The problem with ICE is not that it's targeting people who aren't criminals. The problem with ICE is that it's an unaccountable secret deportation police. It cannot be reformed under a better president. It can be made less terrible, but the instrument of repression remains for the next tyrant.

“Last week, President Donald Trump announced that his administration is weakening or eliminating key provisions of the bedrock environmental law that protect vulnerable species from extractive activities like oil drilling.”
Dismantling the Endangered Species Act will hurt a lot more than just wildlife
The Trump administration's proposed rollbacks open the door for more drilling, mining, and logging.

Our nation’s gun safety laws are only as strong as the weakest link. If leaders in Congress want to protect our communities from gun violence, they need to pass common-sense gun safety laws—like background checks on all gun sales and Red Flags laws—at the federal level.

The 50 wealthiest families own more wealth than the bottom 50% of the population.

How can this Labour Government say this is a "cost of living" budget and refuse to tax the rich?

They care about protecting power and wealth. And cost of living is a buzz phrase for them. Dire.
