As someone who has been open about my struggles with suicide ideation, I want more black women to have these honest talks. Because it's ok to not be strong. Too have a breaking point. And to need to be cared for, instead of caring for everyone else.

Autistic people of color, LGBTQ+ autistics, and poor autistics face compounded barriers. If your advocacy doesn’t include them, it’s not inclusive 👍🏽

When race isn’t considered in autism studies, Black autistic traits get read as “behavior problems” or “defiance.” The result? Fewer diagnoses, more discipline, and lost chances for care remind me how that’s fair
