Quick question
If taxis drive slowly across the city, in protest, and bring the city to a standstill, how will that be different to what they do everyday?
#busLanesForBuses
Taxi drivers are set to stage another protest across Dublin this afternoon in opposition to Uber’s fixed rate charges.

The planned demonstration follows last week’s protest, which brought rush-hour traffic to a standstill in parts of the city.

Tired of rugby analysts being happy with a lack of knowledge of the scrums

So I called up a scrum expert to get the verdict on Ireland's Springbok capitulation

TLDR: Ireland shouldn't be worried, but the 'Boks are ludicrously powerful. What makes them so good?

Close to 1 full goddamn gigawatt of gas (open-cycle, so the most inefficient kind) for the "Project Jupiter" site in New Mexico.

This whole article is a stunning illustration of how data centres are incentivising new fossil infrastructure:

Yes, everyone means everyone
We have over 160,000 vacant & over 20,000 derelict homes in Ireland

How poor is the quality of politician in Europe, that she's the Commission President??
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said today that the fight against climate change was not against the fuels that cause it — only the pollution they emit.
Von der Leyen says EU is not fighting fossil fuels, only emissions
The comment could undermine European countries’ push at COP30 to move away from coal, oil and gas.

Heck, you name it, and private equity has probably already bought it.
