This image is funny but legit this is how 3D art feels like to me. The way I talk to other artists about shader node groups may as well be like two wizards sharing magical runes between each other.

I think I finally am cracking the code on this 3D-Ghibli stuff. I watched an amazing tutorial on the trees from @AversionReality
that really helped me understand shader nodes way better.
I'm also using assets from @Reipart_
(The grass) and @FaruqTawsif
(The flowers).

Experimenting with Ghibli-style trees in Blender. Most of this is based off of @FaruqTawsif's amazing Ghibli-inspired asset library (link below), but I modified it to have a camera-vectored shadow texture on top, and a custom texture for the tree mesh itself.

I’m starting to come to the very toxic opinion that Bilewater is my favorite area in Silksong. I’m not even joking.

A few weeks out from finishing Silksong, and I think the Citadel may be one of my favorite levels in all of games.

There’s a LOT of bullshit in Silksong that I defend, but not being able to farm shell shards in the final area is insane.
Sekiro, a game that also requires you to spend currency to craft tools, even allowed you to go somewhere else to farm said currency.

*Vague Silksong spoilers*
I feel like Team Cherry does a great job of making familiar areas feel super creepy upon revisiting. In Hollow Knight, it was Crossroads, and in Silksong it’s definitely Wormways.
