One of the things people are always asking is what they can be doing.

Securing a passport is one thing you can be doing.

Organizing, promoting, or volunteering for a passport clinic in your community is another.

Read about others' good work and become inspired to take action.

How to record ICE:

1) Record from a safe distance. DO NOT INTERVENE.
2) Put the DATE, TIME, & LOCATION on the video.
3) Ask for NAMES & BIRTHDAYS
4) CONTEXT, how many people were taken? What happened? How?
5) If possible, document vehicles used and agents, even if masked.

Recently @prismreports.org has published many dispatches from Gaza, written by Palestinians surviving the genocide. All of them are heartbreaking, necessary reads. This one, written by Logain Hamdan about kids eating "ice cream" flavored with antibiotics, will stick with me for the rest of my life.
In Gaza, children eat frozen antibiotic syrups for something sweet
Antibiotic “ice cream” is dangerous, but few adults can deny children this small indulgence that makes life under genocide feel worth living

Good news!! They have extended the public comment period until June 7th! So you still have time to submit!! The proposed rule could have huge negative impacts for the federal government, particularly the more technical agencies.
TODAY is the deadline for submitting public comments on the proposed rule to take away protections for civil servants, enabling them to be fired at will (when they don't fit the ruling party's interests). Here's my comment. I hope you'll submit too! #SaveNSF www.federalregister.gov/documents/20...

hi again, cis folks!

the comment period for the proposed rule to remove trans care from the ACA as an essential health benefit is open til april 11.

context & guidance in the thread below. it doesn’t have to be hard; you can do it waiting for coffee.

13 days left, as of this post. please comment.
hi, cis folks!

if we *are* going to talk ACA, RFK's HHS proposed a rule to remove *all trans care* from ACA essential health benefit status.

~25mil people are insured by ACA & if 1% are trans, that's 250,000 people who'd lose access to care.

that's bad! take 2 minutes to stand with trans people.🧵
