The Swiss got rock’n’roll after it had been filtered through the rest of Europe so its version was brilliant, exaggerated and wrong. A sincere pastiche of the original.

If the monied & donor classes were to successfully transition from the party of Robert Peel to the party of Dick Tice as the conduit of their interests, they were always going to need appropriate cover/permission from themselves.

The Telegraph was the vessel for that, & played the role perfectly.

Can't be stressed enough the role of The Daily Telegraph—a British print-version Inforwars—in helpfully prestige-washing and de-gutterising Reform UK.

It's now not just a party for nativist oafs like Lee Anderson, but also christofascists and toffs like Danny Kruger.

i think if you want to have those disgusting LED headlights on your car, you should have to do a test where they blast you point blank with your own headlights and then you have 15 seconds to successfully complete some sort of vision-based task, and if you can't do it they push your car off a cliff

This is what you say when the hotel you run double books a room, not when you murder and chop up a journalist who criticised you.
MBS claims the murder of Khashoggi was "a huge mistake and we're our doing our best that this doesn't happen again."
