If he was running in a red seat & there were no others viable Dems running, I’d be ok with him, but come on…NY-12???

While I understand where these chefs are coming from, I think it's perfectly ok if fine dining is expensive. Service workers should make living wages, even if that means paying more for table service.

(Also Rich Table is pretty much booked solid for the next month so it seems customers don't mind.)
San Francisco chefs are mortified by their own menu prices
Faced wtih rising costs, restaurant owners are caught between frustration and resignation.

The House has voted unanimously to repeal the provisions in the shutdown package which allow GOP Senators to sue the federal government and get as much as $1 million in damages - because the feds looked at their phone records in the Jan. 6 investigation.

If people reallllly want to support an actively registered R against Trump then talk to Jeff Flake since he hasn’t closed his campaign accounts & hasn’t ruled out running somewhere as of last month.

John Giles is still a registered Republican despite actually working to elect Kamala Harris too. 🤷‍♂️

There does. They also don’t need to use Democratic Party resources to do it when they aren’t even registered as Democrats.

If people want to support conservatives running as Dems though with qualifications besides “Trump bad” they have David Jolly & Geoff Duncan as examples.
There does need to be an actual dedicated anti Trump mild republican out there willing to run
We could elect a Democrat that doesn’t marry a direct part of the problem for years.

Maybe 1 who wasn’t considered for positions by Trump before he started speaking out against him.

Maybe 1 that isn’t a former President of his school’s chapter for the Federalist Society that helped get us here.

If he hadn’t changed his ideology in 2016, I’d agree with ye
Look you can have what views you want about the morality of the Iraq War but arguing that people who fought Americans and people who fought in the American military should be morally equal in the eyes of the President of the United States is absurd
I am a Resist Lib at heart so this is coming from a place of love, but I'm increasingly frustrated with the public outrage (real or feigned) about Trump meeting al-Sharaa "who fought against US troops" in the White House as if that is somehow morally worse than JD Vance or Graham Platner in 2003

I've seen Syrians and/or people who have far better knowledge of the region see this as a positive development.

Yeah, side-eye him meeting Trump but the timeline kinda made this unavoidable? Was he supposed to hold out for a Dem POTUS???

It is quite literally orders of magnitude wise for the president of a country to meet with someone who fought against that country than it is to meet with members of the military of the president‘s own country who fought in behalf of the country.

Anyone who claims not to see a difference lies.
