He used "Democrat Party" early on in his opinion, a well-known right-wing partisan "insult" meant to put down Dems.

That's a clear, unambiguously aggressive political view in a politically sensitive opinion.

The sort of thing a healthy 5th Circuit would take steps to sanction.

But yeah, the 5th.
But worry not, he has a footnote explaining why his fixation on Soros "is not political."

Your boss brags about avoiding-- as many years as possible-- paying the IRS a dime on his billionaire cash-pile.

But please do tell us about all the grifters ripping the US treasury off for that sweet, sweet bounty of...food stamps.
Brooke Rollins on why the Trump administration is cracking down on food stamps: "We're really opening up the market here, wanting to make sure that those who are receiving this *supplemental* nutrition benefit -- it was never meant for the long term -- are really those who need it."

sports channel make up the bulk of a basic cable bill

which means non-sports watchers have been (and still are!) subsidizing sports watchers

i do not feel bad for sports watchers
You will need YES, Amazon Prime, Apple TV+, ESPN, Netflix, NBC/Peacock, FOX, and TBS to watch the Yankees next season.

Why did not a single male reporter who were standing next to the president and the female reporter he called "piggy" say a word to the president about this and call him out then and there? Those who keep quiet in these moments are part of the problem.

do the people getting paid obscene amounts of money to create these products feel proud of their work? do the people hyping this stuff and shoving it down our throats think we’re all blind to how absolutely laughable this shit is?

I’m catching up on Larry Summers/Jeffrey Epstein news and having flashbacks to the #EconMeToo conversations three years ago.

Nothing changed in academia then. Will anything change now? (I am not betting on it.)

Last Thanksgiving, two Dallas Police officers knocked on my door, citing a tip from the FBI national threat operations center that I was beating my girlfriend. The incident report confirms this. Today, I obtained a file from the FBI via FOIA that states the FBI has no record of receiving such a tip.

Summers called this female Chinese economist “peril.”

“Yellow peril” was partially built on the claim that Chinese women were sexually immoral threats.

That logic fueled the Page Act of 1875, which barred Chinese women by presuming they were prostitutes, even before the 1882 Chinese Exclusion Act.
