With lots of moving parts in their rotation, the #Yankees have shown interest in re-signing Ryan Yarbrough, a source said.

The swingman would give NY depth & flexibility. However, a reunion shouldn't stop NY from pursuing a frontline starter.

For the fourth time in his eight years as manager, Aaron Boone did not get any Manager of the Year votes. That equals the number of times NYY's manager failed to get a vote in the previous 32 years.

Two notable things happening this week:

- GM Meetings: Not as busy as the Winter Meetings but occasionally things happen. (The Aaron Hicks trade was made at the 2015 Winter Meetings.)

- Awards: Thursday night we'll find out if Aaron Judge is a three-time MVP or two-time MVP runner-up.

The Yankees made Trent Grisham the qualifying offer. It's a one-year, $22.025M deal. If he takes it, he's back next year. If he doesn't, the Yankees will get a draft pick if he signs elsewhere.

$3M. So cheap it's basically zero risk. Hill is death on lefties but he's starting to have more problems with righties. Maybe they get that figured out next year. If not, they just had to pick their spots a little better.

As expected. It was a $25M option with a $5M buyout, so a $20M decision for Bellinger. I think some of the contract estimates out there are way too high, but he'll beat $20M easily.
