The Testament of Ann Lee shows a map of New England that includes the Quabbin, which wasn’t completed into a reservoir until 1946 — 162 years after Ann Lee’s passing.

Great movie otherwise.
#FilmSky, a quick question; what is the pettiest thing you have had to be annoyed at a film? I ask because I am watching The Gift from 2000, and the main character does divination with Zener Cards, which are not the same thing as Tarot at all. Why go for a more boring looking option?

not taking away from Myles Garrett, but let's take a moment to celebrate Al "Bubba" Baker, who had 23 sacks in 1978 before sacks were an official stat.

@pro-football-reference.com ran the numbers in 2021, confirming his record. he was overjoyed to finally be acknowledged www.nfl.com/news/al-bubb...

Sense from the Blue Jays front office the last few years has been they wanted to keep trying in free agency even though it was getting tough always finishing outside the running.

Toronto is now definitively a destination. That’s clear as day.

Shane Baz on working with new Orioles teammate Adley Rutschman in the 2021 Futures Game:

"It went really well," Baz said with a grin. "So I'm excited to pick up from there."

Baz had a pair of strikeouts in a 1-2-3 inning:

This was fun to follow all year long. Great job by Mark to keep it up throughout 2025.

As always, “when asked, the administration had no comment” or “the administration chose not to comment” is a comment.
CBS News EIC Bari Weiss had concerns about the CECOT piece, I’m told. The network decided to hold the segment pending, among other things, comment or an interview with White House officials next year…

I know Hunter Dobbins has been mentioned as the better part of the Cardinals' return tonight, but a lot to like about Yhoiker Fajardo. Moved quickly past the FCL to Single-A at just 18yo and fanned 27.8% of batters faced at the higher level. A pair of good fastballs; slider and kick-change earn 55s.

The market for Munetaka Murakami felt like clubs saying “Someone might give him nine figures, but it won’t be us” right down the line.

Now he’s on a two-year deal through his age-27 season to prove his hit tool can work stateside. White Sox have the roster space. Fascinated to see how it goes.
