🇺🇸 BREAKING: USLS's DC Power has made an offer to sign USWNT star Trinity Rodman, per sources.

"Significantly" larger than what Washington Spirit can offer.

Convos continue between Rodman's camp + NWSL. WSL clubs still in the mix. ⌛️

Personally, I wouldn't celebrate the biggest losers in human history or their fellow travelers from the 1860s, but I guess I'm just Built Different™️.
Exclusive: The U.S. Coast Guard will no longer classify the swastika, nooses and the Confederate flag as hate symbols.

The military service drafted a new policy that classifies them as “potentially divisive.”

Costa Rica’s not making the World Cup really surprises me. They had become a nation that was reliably qualifying out of CONCACAF in the 32-team World Cup, and it’s amazing that they couldn’t qualify without the USA, Mexico, and Canada in the way.
It's over!

🇵🇦 Panama returns to the World Cup after
🇨🇼 Curacao makes its first-ever World Cup to become the smallest nation ever to make the tournament
🇭🇹 Haiti returns for the first time since 1974 despite not being able to play at home.

🇯🇲🇸🇷 to the playoff!

I can no longer follow the plot of this show. I suspect the writers and actors can’t either. I don’t think they have a show runner.

When people were saying a couple months back that Israel shouldn't be in UEFA for geographic reasons, never mind [gestures wildly], I was thinking "They are hardly the worst offenders on the geographic front."

(And yes, they are both in UEFA for specific reasons.)
Kazakhstan is playing at the Faroe Islands today.

That’s an away trip of 3500 miles one way.

They’re both in the same federation.

You see people that are famous that are the least interesting people in the world, and then, you see people who you've never heard of who just do stuff just because and they have the most interesting stories.

Don't know this person, never met her, but I'll bet she had some stories.
In 2022, Diane Reitz tried out to be a Broncos cheerleader at age 64 in pursuit of a great story for her obituary. Here is that obituary:

My wife and I got married in 2010, when Texas went 5-7, and on the particular evening we got married, Texas was tallying one of those losses. So that date and time ruled, is what I’m saying.
The cult of personality that is the Fall Wedding Haters™️ are among the most disingenuous people on earth. They are so utterly full of shit it's almost impossible to believe! I hope they read this from @edsbs.bsky.social and realize it.

OK, given the news that LSU is going hard after Lane Kiffin:

Am I the only one that wonders if LSU is really a clear step up for Kiffin over Ole Miss in the year 2025?

He's not wrong.
I’ve had this discussion elsewhere but I really loathe the use of “battered aggie syndrome” given what it is referencing and what it makes light of.

We are creative people, we don’t need to keep using terminology that downplays actual abusive relationships.
