Sinners winning, plantations burning.

They're scared of the symbols lolol
Starting a small panic around plantation burnings is just incredibly on the nose if we’re being honest.

A plantation burns and a naz*car blows up within the same 24? I can't wait for that 2026 Jordan Peele joint.

I want us to study the history of resistance to slave catchers right now. I want us to study how slave catchers worked, how they were sanctioned, who paid them, and why they did what they did, right now. I want us to study the hyperlocal and networked ways slave catchers were impeded. Right now.

The US government disappearing people over exercising their freedom of speech is wild asf. Do you, your family, or your communities have safety plans in place in the event you disappear?

He's funny and also a good human. An aside, those high prices don't help the artist. They don't get paid from secondary markets. It doesn't benefit them to price out their fans. They carefully price tickets to be accessible to their base. Scalpers ruin that.
Josh Johnson found out people were scalping his tix for a ridiculous amount and shut it down. Like they were going for $300+!!! He read the comments and said "nah". Sent a wait list form around and ppl signed up. Anyway, more shows were added cheapest ticket at the Warner is $53.00.

70% of the world’s population has universal healthcare, but not the US

We are the only highly developed nation without it

Our healthcare is twice as expensive as the average wealthy nation

US ranks last among industrial nations for deaths that could be prevented with timely access to healthcare

One of many reasons for the current disparity.
A big reason more black women are in therapy is because it’s a lot easier to find a black, female therapist than a black male one. Also, there’s still hella stigma about it even though it’s getting better, it’s still not great

You ever read a history book and it feels like you're actually looking into the future?

Anyway, just wanted to talk about Rome's slow decline from a republic to a one-man-run empire that slowly ate itself alive through class and civil war...

There has never been a time I have not chosen to surround myself with books. Books are a mighty fortress.

They keep out the stupid people.
