A family member in Portland Oregon died unexpectedly and left behind a 2 year old husky who is currently on a 5 day hold in a shelter while I try to figure out a way to get her to me here in Portland Maine so that I can adopt her...without it costing All the Money.

Pretty accurate. I'd probably draw a line between Seattle/Portland Northwest and Salem/Eugene Northwest though. That hippie-libertarian thread through the Willamette Valley is really its own thing.
This is the most accurate depiction of the Midwest to date. Wichita has always felt like the last Midwest city while also being the first plains city.
