By far the biggest problem Joe Schoen has as GM is his complete lack of foresight. Any good moves he makes are consensus decisions. He's shown 0 foresight in extending guys early who improve, hitting on late round players, or making budget free agent signings that play better than their contract.

I saw the lead singer of Modern Baseball walking behind the Dunkin Donuts on Aramingo while I was in the drive thru. I rolled down my window and yelled "hey are you the lead singer of Modern Baseball?" and he said "yeah".
