oh yeah absolutely agree. when i stopped drinking regularly in 2020, i lost a lot of "friends" when they realised i wasn't gonna be in the pub that weekend, or that they couldnt rely on me for a pint or 10 after work. its horrible what alcohol does to us in this country

when i stopped smoking weed i realised pretty quickly that i massively regretted being high 24/7 for 20 years of my life. i don't get too drunk anymore and only really drink on special occasions and i have to say it's definitely a positive.

i guess at this point it could mean a stronger chance of bail, but given that some had been granted bail by a high court judge and then had that bail overturned by another high court judge, an unprecedented act in this country, it's hard to say what will happen.
