another reason to play #climateball with honor - climate contrarians are often decent human beings, even cranks for that matters

(as for those who aren't, do as you please)
The Japanese physicists Koba & Takeda submitted similar work two days earlier. When Dyson learned this he amended his paper, acknowledging their work and lamenting the impact of the war: "The isolation of these Japanese workers has undoubtedly constituted a serious loss to theoretical physics" (5/n)

👀 BlackRock just lost another ~$6B mandate after backsliding on addressing climate risk to its clients’ portfolios.

NYC pension trustees meet this week and could approve the @nyccomptroller.bsky.social recommendation to shift $42B for the same reason. 🍿
PME, a Dutch pension fund overseeing about $70 billion, has severed ties with BlackRock based on an assessment that the world’s largest money manager no longer acts in its best interests on issues such as climate risk.

They are all SO well-constructed: the melody, verse/chorus relationship, everything. Usually satirical songs have at least SOME sort of “tell” that they’re not QUITE a “real” song. These have ZERO whiff of that. And I learned tonight reading the credits that Reiner was actually a co-writer on them.
“Tonight I’m Gonna Rock You Tonight” is a bop (the thing about Spinal Tap is these songs are TUNES)

I met Rob Reiner in 2015 at a comedy show in Austin. I was at a low point and needed a boost. Then he appeared.

I won Gold in my second competition this year.

This one was at the ADCC Niagra Open.

I competed as a purple belt in the +30 years old division despite being 46 years old.

Thanks to everyone who showed so much love.

There's a growing list from memory manufacturers to construction companies all pivoting from their primary focus areas to feed at the AI datacenter trough.
