Hello. A quick Chris T-T vinyl LP update. They’re here, they look and sound gorgeous and we’ve pre-sold most of them. Official release date is 14th Nov. Order your copies now, £20 each. I’m never pressing more of these, so this is it… www.indietees.co.uk/chris-tt

The best Reading headline lineup for years. But Simon’s joke is spot on…
Just had a glance at the Reading Festival line-up. For the briefest of moments, I thought they had Chas & Dave headlining.

…there’s more stuff that I’ll go into in more detail on once I get back into a blogging routine.

As @christt.bsky.social pointed out in a post recently, it’s proggy and unusual, which I hadn’t necessarily realised before…but definitely wear as a badge of honour.

I wonder if there are many people out there who’ve driven as many miles as me for work, yet also never owned a car. Countless circuits of the UK, hundreds of thousands of miles, around the EU and across North America too. Still never had one of my own.
Introduce yourself with 5 cars you’ve owned.

VW golf - orange, black vinyl roof.
Citreon BX - blue, written off in weeks
Citreon BX - replacemeny in terrible beige (sigh)
Fiat Uno - black, amazed my bass rig ever fitted in there!
Mini - red Italian Job (best car ever - band have a van!)

New Double Chorus newsletter on deep, focused listening and the new Tom Williams album. Has an odd missing sentence because I poorly sub-edited it, but otherwise golden… doublechorus.substack.com/p/083-on-the...

You can spend months immersed in a project, yet only much later suddenly realise there’s a key theme you’ve missed, when you finally sit down and play the finished item for the first time.

Shabana Mahmood casually saying they're gonna take migrant's jewellery off them has got me thinking about that scene in Schindler's List where the Jewish family wrap family heirlooms in bread and swallow them.

What the fuck are we?

Well that @christt.bsky.social gig is going to rate as one of the happiest I've been to. Proper lot of love in the room.

I've seen @christt.bsky.social play countless gigs, but last night at the 100 Club was easily the best. I sang, I cried, I started a football style chant, and also got told off by security for not joining the aftershow queue of people getting things signed so I could give him a hug. Life affirming.

One of the most pure vile, disgusting things I’ve ever heard from a ‘Labour’ politician. And that’s saying something these days, they all spout such hateful bully pulpit crapola. Any decent society would laugh this stupid person out of office.
“on article 8 of the ECHR in particular the right to family life ..we want to constrain in legislation the way that that is applied in immigration cases” Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood tells Sky’s Trevor Philips

Who would have imagined we would ever hear this from a Labour government

I taped a Cellar 92 session, had a great time with Intoxicated Pigeon in the basement. Here’s a sweary acoustic performance of ‘Cull’ from London Is Sinking…
