I didn't see the AI dog video but in learning to up my AI radar for images and how to spot what's off (or to realize what I subconsciously picked up on when my brain flags it as fake), what I realized is, it reminds me of is a lesson from when I did a forensic psychology course several years ago.

So that's the lesson that pops up for me with AI stuff--when evaluating now, I look at whatever the focus is NOT on.

This isn't to say AI won't eventually be good enough to smooth out everything, but right now it can't. The tells are outside what the video/image wants you to focus on.

My constituent, Wilmer, was mauled by an ICE attack dog despite the fact that, as he has consistently explained, he was not resisting arrest or trying to flee—his wife and young children, all U.S. citizens, were forced to watch helplessly as Wilmer was violently attacked and dragged away.
