Many people yukked it up when our Outlaw Prez first raised the brazen, imperial idea of the US annexing Greenland. But the evidence is piling up that he is quite serious. Now Denmark‘s PM rightly (though diplomatically) has told him to shut up about it. www.nytimes.com/2026/01/05/w...

Lets call attention to the blatant about-face and hypocrisy of these “prominent MAGA figures” who have no hesitation to take 180s to support Trump

amazing how the entire machine can pivot within 24 hours. no need to slowly upsell the argument; just issue new marching orders

We're welcoming back measles and screwworms and none of it has any logic behind it deeper than "back when I was on heroin I realized vaccines contained tiny grizzly bears" and then the fking New York Times devotes 17 paragraphs to the new vaccine bear controversy.

Just a reminder that the Confederacy had big plans to expand into Central and South America. Some of its traitors fled to Cuba and elsewhere after losing. White supremacy has always been transnational

Secretary of State Marco Rubio argues that the Trump regime’s Venezuela action wasn’t an act of war, needing congressional approval but rather a “law enforcement operation.” Vlad Putin with his “special military action” in Ukraine would recognize this transparent dodge.

I’ve taken crap from people who object to my use of “Outlaw Prez” to describe Donald Trump. After the abduction (that the media are sanitizing as a “capture”) of the Venezuelan leader, “Outlaw Prez“ is me being super polite. Nicolás Maduro & the mullahs of Iran are thugs, but how does Trump differ?

Our Outlaw Prez regarding his domestically and internationally illegal acts against Venezuela: “This incredible thing last night ... We have to do it again [in other countries]. We can do it again, too. Nobody can stop us."

He CAN be stopped. But do we have the political will to do it?

Given strong rules in most places against cops investigating major cases if they‘re connected to victims or protagonists, it’s pretty amazing probably half the TV and streaming crime shows depict cops breaking those rules with the chief’s okay. Does wonders, I suppose, to enhance dramatic tension.
