A fun thing to do in a Senate hearing would be to ask Noem or Bovino questions about ICE but pretend they are about immigrants.

"A Somali man was found passed out drunk in a car, covered in vomit. What should be done?"

"A Venezuelan man shot an ICU nurse ten times. What should his sentence be?"
"A U.S. Customs and Border Patrol employee was charged with drunken driving in St. Paul after a state trooper found him passed out in a car Tuesday morning 'covered in vomit.'"

Border Patrol employee Alfredo Mancillas Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas, was charged with drunk driving in St. Paul.

The more I think about it, the more I’m convinced the Democrats have to push their hand immediately. The parallels with the delays and subsequent failures after January 6th are blaring warning signs about what will happen if they don’t go after the issues with ICE and CBP at the root RIGHT NOW.

I think we’re all, myself included,
under reacting to the Government declaring multiple times that ICE has “absolute immunity.”

This was the EXACT line the Gestapo/SS and a dozen other genocidal nations throughout modern history crossed that led to unleashing the darkest of horrors.

You and your wife drop your 6-year-old off at school. You just moved here. You see ICE terrorizing your new neighbors. You film them, as is your legal right. Your wife complies with orders. She is then shot in the head. You still have to pick up your child later today.

This could be you.

The Epstein Files Transparency Act is a law, passed by Congress on November 19 with an overwhelming vote. Complying with it was not optional. The Department of Justice did not comply.

I want to make sure this is very clear.

My position on impeachment is the same as it was six months ago: Impeachment is first about driving public attention to Trump’s crimes and corruption.

Democrats should introduce impeachment articles and force votes to boost their parallel media effort.

Performative public investigations matter.
Why push for impeachment?

Because politics is an exercise in moving public opinion as much as counting votes in the senate.

The Jan 6 Hearings were not a criminal proceeding against Trump that would end in jail, but they focused public attention.

I understand hating all of these companies. They suck. But I will never understand how Musk got labeled a genius when he just isn't and hasn't been. He's the dumbest of the three by far. But you have to be knowledgeable enough about tech to know he's dumb. This is the problem.

we gotta keep hammering over and over again just how fucking unpopular this guy is with every institution and every person in a position of power

people hate him and people will hate you for capitulating to him

I understand he's a bully, that many of his followers are doxxers, that you're on Air Force One. But in 2016 I wanted Clinton to turn around at the debate and say "Stop lurking behind me, you fucking creep" and the first journo to say "What the fuck did you call me?" will be a hero forever
I don't know why the "Piggy" thing is bothering me so much. It's one more unforgivable thing in a list of 20,000 unforgivable things, but I've been mad about it for like 12 straight hours.

He was calling for free expression in the Arab world. You can read it here :

The Arab world needs a modern version of the old transnational media so citizens can be informed about global events.
