Here's a shot I got in May of a Cliff Swallow colony on the central coast. There were so many nests I lost count and I can't wait to get back there in 2026!

I can't think of a single restaurant I miss more than the classic Pizza Hut situation from when I was a kid. You got your own little pizza. You didn't have to pay for it because you read books, which seemed magical to me because I read everything anyway. They had video games. It looked fancy.

Some big seas expected over next few days, first into the West on Thursday and then Southwest on Friday night into Saturday. Bad timing too as we have high tides this week so risk of coastal flooding. Don’t park in car parks that are known to flood on the coast, like Salthill!
