An underreported and really nasty fact: DOJ Friday was full of political allies from around the country. Career staff –the life blood of the place –were forbidden from attending, unless expressly invited by the regime. It was a meeting of the Vichy govt in Paris with all Nazis and a few quislings.

Hegseth has ordered the Pentagon to STOP offensive cyber operations against Russia. This is insane. Russia is actively targeting the U.S., and the ability to conduct offensive operations (which was authorized by Trump in 2018!*) was at least one deterrent.
