Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.

Learning from detail.

A quilting mentor once wrote that you can use 100 colors as long as there’s a place to rest your eye.
I think this is true of chaos. We can handle chaos as long as we can find a place to rest our souls and spirits.

Hello! A little shop plug: I'm Sarah and I like to draw spooky and atmospheric things, from TV, film and books, landscapes, legends and whatever emerges from my fusty old head. I make prints and occasionally other things and my shop is here. Reposts much appreciated. Thanks! sarahcoomershop.etsy.com

Fingers crossed!
I mean, when has a high stakes referendum undertaken to deal with internal party divisions ever horrifically backfired for the polity?
www.lakelandtoday.ca/alberta-news... Smith is playing a dangerous game for the sake of Party unity. But I think her strategy could very well split the UCP.

Just a reminder.

There is no Alberta without Canada.

The separatists in Alberta are a loud and vocal minority.

Real Albertans need to start getting louder than them.

Now.

The UCP never misses an opportunity to punch down. Despicable.
With 77,000 people on AISH, the UCP stands to take 15,400,000 a month with money that is supposed to be helping lift disabled Albertans a little more out of poverty.

They’re taking $15 million a month away from some of Alberta’s most vulnerable.

As promised, I officially deliver my next poem 💙

I wrote this earlier in the week when my whole nervous system felt like it was being attacked by sensory input. Each stanza is vertical, merging with the next and getting harder to read.

I've included a coloured key and alt text to help translate.
