🏳️‍⚧️🍉🌻 Trade union rep, chair of Conway Hall Ethical Society, weirdly optimistic for someone with chronic TMJ. Pronouns are She/They but "Glorious Majesty" is also fine.
Booked my ticket for @qedcon.org this morning. Looking forward to seeing the old gang, setting the world to rights, and raising a toast to a genuinely wonderful team.

One of the funniest dates I ever went on was with this guy who very nervously admitted he had two cats. When I enthusiastically responded that I love cats, his face fell and he dropped his gaze into his lap before whispering

"I have four cats"

Was recently clocked as non-binary by a heckler in Lowestoft, which I was actually quite touched by (I present very pretty and girly. The prettiest, really). I hope you're well, you strange, angry, drunk, young person.
Wish homophobes in the wild were more creative, because I can't even be angry at "gay boooooys" being shouted at us down the street when we are indeed gay, and we are indeed boys.

99% of homophobic abuse from strangers in the street is some alteration of this.

It's not too late for chaos with Ed Miliband. He still exists, somewhere... out there.
10 years ago today. How'd that decade work out for you, Dave?

To think they could have spent that cool half a mil on a comms strategy highlighting positive things they've done instead of giving Farage's face yet more airtime. In a cost of living crisis, waste like this is heartbreaking.
Thanks to a steep increase in the final few days of the campaign, UK Labour spent just over £500,000 on digital ads for last week's local elections. The Conservatives spent £350k, Reform just over £200k.

So much for the free market!
What a moron.

This is a brilliant thread 🏆
1/🧵 Yet another thread of archive finds. Here’s government advice on the Bill’s implication on the operation of EU/EEA equality laws, freedom of movement, and—surprise—the definition of “same-sex” relationships.

The Supreme Court is wrong. And we have the receipts, indeed, too many receipts.

"Voters are unhappy with how On Fire the country is."
"I hear you. More Fire it is."

Watching Kuenssberg listening to a series of cis politicians being questioned about the Supreme Court ruling and EHRC guidance.

This is about the human rights of trans 🏳️‍⚧️ people but not a single trans voice yet.

Do better BBC.

“Toilets are for peeing, not politics”

Even after the Supreme Court ruling there is nothing stopping anyone using whatever toilet they wish to use.

Very clearly set out 👇
