My belief is that republicans freaked out when Obama was elected because his election was the first one that they couldn't prevent.
Obama got LESS of the white vote in 2012 and STILL won.
Dems don't need a majority of the white vote to win nationally, so they should stop chasing it so much.

This is why I want folks to stop announcing how white folks voted every November. This is the norm, and we can win without the majority of white voters.

It’s the racism, for sure. But I have also wondered if there is a certain bias I don’t have a name for — like, his natural athleticism makes him read as an action star even when he is doing drama?? So (especially white out-of-touch) voters don’t see him as an actor?

Every once in a while I remember Michael B. Jordan hasn't even been NOMINATED for an Oscar yet. It's ridiculous. He's one of the best actors and biggest stars of his generation.

100% agree. I know the US has grifting as a core part of our culture since the founding, but at times (like the early 1900s, now) it gets out of hand and needs to be brought under control
