It is in our DNA to have good days because the United States has never promised our safety and security. We have been forced to create good days in the midst of danger, uncertainty, and hellish conditions.

Folks are having their worldview completely shattered. You only have the capacity to have a good day when you’ve known that the system was flawed and would fail folks at any moment.

I agree…and I own a husky who takes off whenever he pleases. 😭
