I swear at some point I will do a thread of how awesome the Lego botanical sets are, but in the meantime, a new bouquet arrived in the mail. Here is a photo of the previous bouquet.

This is what I try to always tell people: food banks can do way more with your money than you can, due to bulk buying deals. And they can do way, way more with your money than with the canned goods you didn’t want to eat
spoke with the executive director of my local food bank today and got this really incredible line: "if you donate 1 can of green beans, we can give away 1 can of green beans. but if you donate a dollar, we can give away 6 cans of green beans"

The more I read this thread, the more I agree with it simply because only a woman, including a trans woman, could truly captivate the arrogance of men and the horrors that come with that arrogance.
The Frankenstein reviews are falling into two camps.
1) adoration
2) disappointment it is not more true to Shelley's vision.
I have thoughts. The first of which is that Frankenstein will not truly capture the essence of Shelley's feminism unless it's done by a woman. But there's an asterisk here.
