I spoke with one of the guys that left, and it was the lenders that basically are the reason he left without even having a new job lined up prior to his departure. Straight up burnt out and sick of the bullshit and being blamed for things that weren't his fault.

And it's funny because there is another lender at his branch who is his complete opposite and I'm her favorite processor because I catch shit before it becomes an issue and she listens to me and works to resolve it. This guy, however, is your average confident white cis male who can do no wrong.

In the past, he has tried to make his failings my fault. Which has lead me to take time out of my day to send the email string between us to leadership to explain this could have been prevented if he had just listened to me back when I originally told him things will be an issue.

He's the kind of asshole who will ask me a question, and if I give him an answer that he doesn't like, he calls my supervisor. My supervisor then comes over to my desk and interrupts my work, and asks me to explain myself. This is one of the reasons I am working as much over time as I am.

I have called out this lender before and as far as know he has never faced any consequences save for a slap on the wrist so he continues to waffle his way through one of the most regulated systems in the banking industry. I would not recommend him as a lender to my worst enemies.

I'm 99% sure I caught a lender violating our conflict of interest policy and he will likely face 0 consequences which is one of the many reasons I am leaving.

It's pretty easy to live your life in a way where people won't celebrate your death, and he failed to do that. So here we are.

I need all the good vibes you can send because I'm going to lose my mind if I stay where I'm currently at.

I am holding off on buying sets until I have secured a new position that isn't in mortgage lending, and then I will reward myself. Plus, I'm still building those fountains you recommended.

He's so desperately seeking paradise, but as soon as he arrives, he immediately wants to start throwing people out he deems less worthy and wonders why the paradise is gone.

He is the rich man who leaves Lazarus to suffer fester and die and then complains that he's the one who ended up in hell.

He complains about the existence of the homeless when he has the money to fix it, but instead of doing that, he flees to a place where there are fewer homeless people.
