It’ll be very funny if Keir Starmer officially, by the numbers, becomes a worse PM than Liz Truss.

Not gonna lie, @sainsburys.bsky.social the fact you keep discontinuing or being out of stock for months of the ONLY product options I can eat as a diabetic is starting to feel a lot like intentional victimisation.

In case anyone is wondering how the NHS is going, I recently had to call an ambulance for a lady who collapsed is the street.

The operator’s response was: No. There are no ambulances, lack of capacity

I didn’t know they could DO that. Say there might be a 2 hour wait maybe, but just a flat “No”?!

Why the fuck have buses in London stopped stopping at bus stops.

Buses just flying right past me standing at a bus stop has happened THREE times in the last week, which is more than the total occurrences in the preceding two DECADES I’ve lived here.

We regret to inform you that the AI is Hitler
If you're wondering what happened with Grok overnight, it ended up referring to itself as MechaHitler before being switched off.

chinese CEO: we made the concrete more gooder
By far the most interesting bit: Chinese cement conglomerate Sinoma's CEO Zhu Bing talked about their innovations, having other CEOs gasp and take pictures every time he flipped a slide.

Sorry to say, but U.S. DOE cuttings funds from the likes of Brimstone & Sublime is an epic economic own goal.

Why Windows 11?

Why would you change something that has be standard in every version I’ve ever used?

Having made this bizarre decision why would you then provide the ability to put it back, but hide it under 3 submenus?

So I just discovered Windows 11 doesn’t let you see the seconds on the clock.

Apparently there was an option to turn this on, but an update removed it.

This is AGGRESSIVELY stupid, what possible reason could there be to disable the just about the most basic functionality imaginable.

Just discovered that this bloody government has “clamped down” on charitable tax relief of all things.

Gift aided a ticket purchase and wondered why it cost me more to do so. 😒

Uggg of all the things to go after.

Searching for “train guy” on TikTok brings up a pretty even mix of Bob Mortimer’s skit and Francis Bourgeois and now I desperately need a crossover.

I know this is a sentiment thrown around far too freely about far too many things but. . . .

Adolescence IS genuinely important and the act of watching it IMO represents an actual social good.
Especially if you identify as a man.

Few people are willing, when it comes down to it, to risk or sacrifice their lives for a State.

Militaries are well aware of this, so a good portion of their training is psychological conditioning to make it more personal. Follow orders, fight for the man next to you, fight for your family etc.
A poll by The Times that found that “Half of Generation Z think that Britain is a racist country and only a tenth would risk their lives to defend it in a war” has sent the Boomer Commentariat into a tailspin:

One of the greatest line reads of all time. Tim Curry for Command And Conquer, clearly it was a one and done and he could barely stop laughing at the ridiculousness of the line. Perfection

It must be crazy to straight up murder a guy and for the response (from most people) to be:

“That’s fine . . . . . good, actually”
