Every time someone mentions Labour electoral victory or their "mandate" it just serves to remind everyone that it was nothing of the sort. They took power by accident with the brittlest of governments and have spaffed all their political capital fucking it up ever since.

insha'Allah
It was asked, and Sarwar said he had spoken to "colleagues across the UK Labour family" ...

A resignation every hour now ..?

Equally this explains why there doesn't seem to be any credible replacement. Labour has meticulously removed anyone with any support and/or political ability and now that lack of depth has come back to bite them on the arse.
The Starmer shitshow is the direct result of purging anyone with any actual Politics from the Labour Party and having a middle manager at the helm.
When you are a nowhere man who stands for nothing, its all too easy to get knocked down.

As a fucking parent TALK TO YOUR FUCKING KIDS THEN. Worried they'll see porn? Talk to them about porn. Worried they'll see gore? Talk to them about gore. Worried they'll get groomed? Talk to them about red flags and cultivate trust with them so they won't feel they have to hide things from you.
"As a parent, I am deeply concerned about what my child is accessing online. Albeit not enough to check or to install some very basic software that would prevent them from accessing dodgy material online. That's why the Online Safety Act is so important."

I've seen some similar projects, but IMO this seems to better capture some of the fine-grained detail

Just way, way too many *things* in it. Utterly unimpenetrable, horrible visual style and absolutely no fun whatsoever. I regretted it within 24 hours of purchase, sold it almost immediately and bought Helldivers 2 instead, which I loved.

The MPs who will choose the next Prime Minister once Starmer inevitably resigns were hand-picked by friend of Jeffrey Epstein, the serially disgraced Peter Mandelson.

Expect them to force Mandelson's protege Wes Streeting on us.

So what arrangements have been put in place to make sure that people can get to their medical appointments?
Do they understand how mad they sound? As if anyone has ever decided to cross the Channel in a small boat because, if they make it, they might get to take a free taxi to a doctor's appointment?

"Pull factors" on steroids.

There are certain people on this site (and in the halls of congress) who think everything is a distraction instead of understanding the federal government is very big and powerful and can do lots of (evil) things at once. There are no distractions just omnibattle
Seeing some replies about how the arrests of Don Lemon and Georgia Fort are distractions, but targeting journalists is straight out of the fascism playbook. It's not to distract from other issues -- the regime wants to chill critical coverage because they know they're unpopular.

the primary blocker to UBI is the puritan belief that humanity is so sinful and depraved that it should not be permitted personhood unless it becomes 'civilised'

that's how liberal social policy ended up asserting that helping people would harm them but hurting people would help them
"Not only don't people work less when they are guaranteed an income, they might actually put in more effort at work. And the fact that they have more money to spend leads to the creation of more jobs."
