Pipe down bro. Your job is computer. You're not batman.
it does feel like an intense societal problem that the founder of palantir, the biggest survellience company, thinks like this

"As a society we seem to have forgotten that life can be tough - a broken heart or grief is painful and normal, and we have to learn to cope." Yeah but as a society we require a doctors note for time off work and sometimes grief means you need some time off work. Cunts.
The fact that many GPs don't believe people with mental health conditions will not be news to those of us with mental health conditions who have had to deal with these cunts.

Kudos on the BBC for continuing to manufacture consent to take away our rights and healthcare though.
'Life being stressful is not an illness' - GPs on mental health over-diagnosis
Hundreds of GPs in England tell the BBC they are also worried about a lack of help for patients.

I thought these guys hated participation trophies?
They literally made up an award so he'd have something to play with during the ceremony. It's no different than giving a kid an iPad at their older sibling's graduation.

This. I dropped out of med school TWICE,struggled with addiction, abuse and generally getting myself in situations because I was undiagnosed and struggling in a way I couldn't articulate. Diagnosis (& meds) turned me around and gave me the ability to achieve my potential. This isnt frivolous stuff.
I sometimes get really sad thinking about how much easier uni and PhD would have been, and how much less Disabled I would have been in my 20s, if the ADHD had been caught when I was at school - but I was high-performing and female-presenting, so no-one ever noticed. It's a curse.

People love to include dead nazis in the "victims of communism" stats
Deaths attributed to Lenin… 3-10 million
Deaths attributed to Stalin… 6-20 million
Deaths attributed to Mao… 45-75 million

Yes, my friend, communism is indeed bad.

Want to make charity donations in people's names instead of shitty presents... does anyone know of a good place to do this? Ive previously used "good gifts" but would prefer something for Palestinians if poss.

Calling your troops "full of shit" on a national holiday is a good bit tbf. Love patriotism, me.
JD Vance: "How many of you really like turkey?"

Many soldiers raise their hands.

Vance: "You're all full of shit."

Seems to me like actively hounding the young and immigrants would be intensely counterproductive, if one of our core problems was an aging population.

Remembering, for no reason at all, that time I had to sell my favourite dungarees because I needed to buy nappies.
