It's a useful reminder that sometimes tech can make a task more efficient for one side (applying for jobs), and more efficient for the other side (writing job adverts), and yet make the system as a whole completely inefficient.

this is what Jesus was getting at when he said “How hard it is for a rich man to enter the kingdom of Heaven!” imo. He wasn’t necessarily referring to a utopian afterlife. Jesus came to build
a kingdom in the here and now, and the more wealth you have, the harder it is to get in.
